UNDERSTANDING "MULTIPLE ORIGINALS" AND THEIR PRICING
"Multiple Originals" have been designed by Ulla Darni for collectors and designers who want quality glass art in an affordable price range. The term “Multiple Original” is used to describe works designed by Ms. Darni, and painted by her studio artists. There are approximately 18 designs divided into three price groups. Within these three groups, price varies according to the size of each piece.

Multiple original chandeliers are available in 18"- 52" diameters.
Multiple original sconces are available as 16"w x10"h or 24"w x 16"h.

MULTIPLE ORIGINAL DESIGNS are priced in three design groups:

GROUP ONE: Balance, Blessing, Casablanca, Fern, Fez, Horses, Iguana, Kashmir, Kaz, Madame Butterfly, Marrakesh, Rom, Spring, Swing, Vienna Bold Swirl, Vienna Thin Swirl

GROUP TWO: Bliss, Birchscape, Ibis, Landscape, Mina, Mir, Moonscape, Peacock, Tropical Sunset

MULTIPLE ORIGINAL SIZES
Ulla Darni Multiple Original chandelier sizes range from 18" to 52" in diameter and are available as bowl shapes. Multiple Original chandeliers, lamps and sconces can also be commissioned using your custom colors. The additional charge for custom colors is $250 per color per piece. Custom color fees include a complimentary nightlight created from your color samples. Commissioned Multiple Original work generally takes 8-12 weeks.

ORIGINAL SIZES
Original Ulla Darni works are designed and painted by the Ms. Darni. They are truly one of a kind pieces, and therefore more collectible and more expensive. Original chandelier sizes range from 18" to 72" in diameter and are available in bowl, cone and pyramid shapes.

Original chandeliers and sconces can be commissioned with designs that include specific colors, flowers and/or abstract designs. The glass edges can also be carved, creating a lacy effect. Commissioning Ulla Darni to create an original work of art just for you generally takes 12-16 weeks. Shipping is additional. Original chandeliers size 30" and larger are crated in wood. Smaller work is foam packed in heavy cardboard containers.

IRONWORK
The ironwork for Ulla Darni Original chandeliers is hand-hammered cast iron and is available as straight ironwork, traditional hanging ironwork or as a ceiling mount for height-restricted areas. For high ceiling applications, 6 inch cast iron "S" hooks can be added to the traditional handing ironwork.

BULBS FOR ORIGINALS AND MULTIPLE ORIGINALS
Chandeliers in the range of 24"- 28" diameter have three 60W bulbs and those in the range of 30"- 40" diameter have six 60W bulbs. Chandeliers larger than 40" diameter are handled on an individual basis. Ulla Darni illuminated art is best suited to create mood rather than as the only light source in a room.

DETERMINING THE SIZE YOU WANT FOR YOUR HOME
A simple way to determine the correct size chandelier to order is to hold an umbrella upside down and open to create a "bowl" effect. This will allow you to estimate the circumferance with pretty good accuracy.

INSTALLATION
You will want to have a licensed electrician install your artwork. Detailed installation instructions are provided to you by our gallery.
